"A Behanding In Spokane" This Weekend
This weekend the Next Stage Theatre Southwest will be putting on a fully staged dramatic
reading of Martin McDonough’s dark comedy and controversial play, “A Behanding
Spokane”. It will be directed by Mark Klugheit, and featuring Clark Andreas Ray, Taylor Hernandez, Richard “Chomps” Thompson, and Robert Anthony Peters, four wonderful actors who will be reading and acting out the play. McDonagh’s play touches on a lot of controversial topics and subject matter, explores themes of revenge and violence, and uses plenty of explicit language - so it may not be for everyone, but for the adventurous lover of live performances it is surely something that will not be forgotten soon. There are two performances; Saturday evening at 7 PM, and Sunday Afternoon at 2 PM, at the Temple of Music and Art Cabaret. So if you feel adventurous enough to try to beat the heat this weekend, this might be there perfect getaway for you!
